A Dream Into My Canvas
"A picture paints a thousand words", and when it comes to talking about dreams, I found it easy to express it through my colours. Being a game changing inspirational figure, both in art and technology, Jeff Bezos and his dream 'Blue Origin' found its way to my canvas. Moreover, to express the Innumerable shades of desire, I felt the need to blend art with dream, the common ground which keeps us humans alive. And to unveil to the world, how important and thrilling it is to dream big and strive for it. After several experiments, I finally fixed on depicting my version on the logo of Blue Origin and to allow the feather to express the uniqueness it carries.

Details of the painting
1) The wave-like pattern is my depiction of the pathway Bezos created towards space to commercialise human spaceflight. I wanted to portray his journey from the beginning and make people know about his undefeated appetite to embrace his dream.
2) The hot-air-balloon painted on the bottom of the feather symbolizes Albuquerque, a place known for it's hot air balloon festival, and where Bezos was born. I added this to educate the viewers about Bezos childhood and his roots within the painting.
3) The image of a boy wearing a hat next to the hot air balloon is the portrayal of Bezos during his childhood, when he had spent his young years with his grandfather, whose influence has always been present in his life hitherto.
4) The depiction of a television next to the young boy is to represent the story of Neil Armstrong's first flight to the moon, when Bezos was a five year old boy. This is to convey how the spirit of the dream was planted in his soul and the accomplishment of it.
5) The paper airplane denotes the first model of his dream from childhood, which urged him to take every single step of his life towards his goal. I added this to showcase to the world how each one of us can dream and hold the power to make them into reality.
6) The next one is the image of an astronaut beside a planet in space. If you closely examine the astronaut, you'll find the present portrayal of Jeff Bezos. I painted this to give the image of Bezos to the final stage of his journey.
7) The image of a tortoise in the middle of the feather symbolises the slow and steady pace of Blue Origin, and the assurance of success awaiting him on the other side. This is to show the hard work he has put to fulfill his dream and the never ending vigour it carries.
8) The image of a boot represents the step by step journey to his dream. Bezos' boot with the tagline of Blue Origin, Gradatim Ferociter imprinted on it. And also you'll be able to see a hat behind the tortoise as well. It is said that whenever Blue Origin makes progress, Bezos wears this hat and the boots, something he believes to be the token of his luck. I added this to picture everything associated with his journey towards Blue Origin.
9) The tip of the feather carries the image of suborbital launch vehicles like Good Shepard and New Glenn, which were developed by Blue Origin as a commercial system for Suborbital space tourism. This is to represent the first half consisting of the progress of Blue Origin.
The feather
The feather I carved on my canvas is not just a mere painting of the logo. It carries multiple layers of hidden meaning. In other words, it is the artistic representation of Bezos' historical project. One of the hidden content in the painting is the count of stars on the canvas. The stars represent the number of weeks from the beginning of blue origin ( 9th sep 2000 ) to the first human space flight lunch on July 20th 2021 , which is equals to 1088 stars. There are 7 more hidden meanings in the painting, and I would like to reveal those concealed meaning I developed in connection with Blue Origin and Bezos, to the right person.
Golden Ratio
Color Usage
This artwork is done completely based on golden ratio (1.618) to give and special touch to the painting. It is done using pure warm colours and cold colour. And inorder to achieve a high contrast, the background colour is purely cold colours and the foreground is coated in warm colours.

Why Blue Origin?
Blue Origin is a life changing dream Jeff Bezos developed, which is aimed to make access to space cheaper and more reliable through reusable launch vehicles. A dream turned reality to protect planet earth for the coming generation. My dream is to create Bezos' accomplishment by giving an artistic touch to it, and create a historical artwork to celebrate this innovative project. And to urge the young generation to dream without boundaries and to work without fear to become the version of themselves they aspire to be. My painting is not a simple amalgamation of lines and colours, based on a light feather and a logo, this painting represents a dream that spans the lifetime of a great man and his vision.
About the artist
Habeeb Hamza from Kerala, India. A passionate artist who started his journey into arts from his childhood. He started his graduation from symbiosis international university pune and dropped out to pursue his dreams. A multi talented person who has done numerous experimental works in his artistic career. Google has recognised his pencil carving artwork in the year April 2017. Moreover, he is one of the only selected artist from India along with the International artist in Guinness world records for the longest graffiti art work conducted at Dubai 2016, and also won the first prize in Asia's cultural festival from IIT -year 2013. He is currently residing in Qatar and is the Co-founder of OBM digital marketing and designing company.
